I am writing this letter in regards to Joanne (Joni) Peterson (Tuch). Joni worked in the University of Nebraska at Kearney's Strength and Conditioning Department for five years. UNK is a NCAA Division II school with sixteen sports teams. Her duties included supervising the weight room, instructing athletes on strength, plyometric, and conditioning techniques, as well as program development. She worked with a variety of men's and women's teams and individuals at UNK.
Joni was a dedicated staff member and showed great interest in learning the many aspects of strength training and conditioning for various populations. She always presented herself in a professional manner and related well with myself, the athletes, and the coaching staff. Joni was a valuable asset to UNK's Strength and Conditioning program.
